“Strategic Business Development with Europe”

The International Summer Business Program offered at the I.A.E Lyon originally combines management courses and real company case studies over a two-week period in Lyon. It is targeted at international participants - MBA students, executives and Master students - who want to obtain an insight in strategic business development, with a comparative approach of the international business environmentand an input by both academics and practitioners.
The ISBP has been successfully running at the I.A.E Lyon for more than 20 years. It was redesigned last year to focus on Strategic Business Development with Europe in order to expose students to how successful international businesses have established themselves in Europe and how companies can likewise expand successfully from Europe to international markets.
The program includes 60 hours of graduate courses in Management along with company visits, concrete case studies and cultural activities.
Participants are required to take all courses offered:
- European Strategic Development
- Cross Cultural Management
- European Marketing
- Specifics of European Corporate Cultures

••• THE CULTURAL ACTIVITIES:
A guided tour of Pérouges – an authentic medieval village a few kilometers away from Lyon.
A traditional French Dinner, planned at a French Family’s home (for international participants).
A welcome party cocktail hosted by the Dean of the I.A.E Lyon at the beginning of the program.
A guided tour of Lyon at the beginning of the program to create group dynamics.These simple and genuine contacts allow participants to be immersed into French culture and to discover different ways of life and local traditions.

Located at the heart of the European Union, Lyon is France’s largest city after Paris and home to over 1 700 000 inhabitants.
